Leták má být "PRVNÍ POMOCÍ" rodičům dětí s PAS při zorietnování se v této problematice a spleti úřadů a organizací.
Leták připravovali právníci z úřadu veřejné ochránkyně práv neboli ombudsmanky. V rámci spolupráce byly při tvorbě letáku osloveni i odborníci z různých oblastí. Leták připomínkovali také členové Poradního orgánu ombudsmanky, mimo jiné i paní Mgr. Milena Urbanová. Pokud by rodiče měli jakékoliv dotazy či něčemu nerozuměli, je možné kontaktovat veřejnou ochránkyni práv viz www.ochrance.cz/kontakty/, kde je uveden také kontakt na právní sekci, která leták zpracovávala.Pozornost leták věnuje screeningu na PAS, rané péči, vzdělávání, šikaně, volnočasovým aktivitám, sociálním službám, průkazům ZTP, invalidním důchoům, zdravotním službám, zaměstnání, možnostem jak se bránit proti porušování práv osob s autismem.
