V neděli 10. května se v sídle spolku uskutečnil workshop pro rodiče na téma využití iPadu u dětí s autismem, kterým rodiče provázela lektorka Mgr. Andrea Sitařová společně s panem Petrem Pekárkem, tatínkem chlapce s autismem. Rodiče se na workshopu seznámili s tím, proč je vhodné využívat iPad u dětí s autismem, jaký tablet koupit, jaké aplikace se osvědčily pro rozvíjení konkrétní dovednosti (např. pro rozvoj předmatematických a matematických dovedností, pro rozvoj řeči, kognitivních a zrakových dovedností, rozvoj motoriky, pro upoutání pozornosti) a pro relaxaci.
Dále se rodiče seznámili se strukturovaným prostředím, v němž děti s autismem pracují a s vizualizačními pomůckami, které lektorka využívá při motivaci dítěte.
Prezentace byla doplněna videozáznamem zobrazujícím dítě s dětským autismem při práci s iPadem. Rodiče si poté mohli vyzkoušet, jak se s iPadem pracuje.
Ti z rodičů, kteří už tablet doma mají, předávali ostatním své zkušenosti a rady.
