V srpnu loňského roku jsme měli tu čest přivítat v Auticentru Lizu Krassner z USA s jejím filmovým štábem a společně uspořádat charitativní akci na podporu osob s autismem. V rámci akce se uskutečnila projekce filmu Through the heart of Tango (Srdcem tanga), jehož výkonnou producentkou byla Liza Krassner. Liza pracuje jako vrchní administrátorka Programu veřejného zdraví na University of California Irvine a současně je předsedkyně Centra pro autismus a poruchy neurologického vývoje. V posledních letech natočila několik filmů na téma zaměstnavatelnosti lidí s autismem a jinými poruchami - A Parent Interview (Rozhovor s rodičem, 2009), Through the Heart of Tango (Srdcem tanga, 2013), Hire Me (Najměte mě, 2013) a Hula is My Language (Hula je můj jazyk, 2014).
U příležitosti svého pobytu v České republice natočila Liza a její filmový štáb dokument o Auticentru nazvaný Autism and Arts at the Auticenter (Autismus a umění v Auticentru), na který Vám přinášíme krátkou upoutávku. Doufáme, že Liza se svým filmovým štábem navštíví Auticentrum také letos a rodiče budou mít možnost se s ní setkat a prodiskutovat péči o osoby s autismem u nás a v USA.
