V roce 2007 přijala Valná hromada Organizace spojených národů prohlášení, které trvale uznává 2. duben jako Světový den autismu.
Cílem akcí, které se konají po celém světě, je přivést k problematice autismu, pervazivní poruše postihující desítky miliónů lidí, celosvětovou pozornost. My jsme až takové velké cíle neměli a tak jsme uspořádali setkání rodin s dětmi s autismem v hřišti Bez Bot. Děti si užily dovádění, shlédly divadelní představení divadélka LUK a využily možnost namalovat si vajíčka ve výtvarné dílničce paní Marie Chrastilové. Díky asistentkám mohli rodiče alespoň chvilku využít ke klidnému posezení u kávy. Doufám, že byli všichni spokojeni a těšíme se na další společnou akci.
